I am fascinated by different art styles and I thought it would be fun creating postcards using different art styles.

For a starter, let's create 2 postcards using minimalist style (such as Mondrian) (Google it if you're not sure). Use any medium you like including photography, computer art programs, stamping, markers, paint, collage, mixed media - whatever you heart desires as long as it is your original creation.

Glue your original art work on cardboard and send your card to two partners.

I am thinking of making a series out of this covering the following styles: Abstract, Pointillist, Surrealist, Naive, Cubist, Fauvist, Pop, Graffiti, Asian, Prehistoric, Comics art. If you want to cover other styles just let me know...

I get the impression from description that it is art that we do in the styles of a minimalistic artist and not someone elses work is that correct.

Great idea, it's only two partners so I think people will most likely send originals. I'm in.

I too would rather send my original art work as I would hope the swapper would to. I will put this on my watch until it gets a little clearer. I have done this with an ATC swap also.
