Twelve Cent Postage Stamps

can these be used in other countries and why the 12 cent value, should they be used or unused

The UK doesn't use 12p stamps. Just 10p or 20p. :(

I read it as 10 different stamps, each with a face value of 12 (whatever currency). The host will have to confirm, but I would imagine used or unused would be acceptable as you couldn't use any foreign ones you receive to then post out an item from your home country anyway. Perhaps the host could also confirm whether you would be allowed to "make up" the 12, for example, send both a 10pence & a 2pence = 12p.

I think this is mainly for used stamps, or unused if you want. The host had a previous swap for stamps with a value of 6 in any currency, and the ones I received were all used and from various countries.

CraftyLass: If this is the same as the prior 6 swap, then it's only for stamps with 12 on them, not added up to 12.

It is the same as the prior 6 swap. As long as the value of each stamp is 12, and the stamp is in good shape on /off paper, you are good to go. Used or unused is fine. Any country is fine as well. Best wishes, Emily

Unfortunately, I don't think I have enough "12"s, but I'll be keeping an eye out for other denominations :)
