This is a very simple swap, and special in its own way because of the richness of the Word.

For your 1 partner please send:

** a favourite Scripture verse on a 3x5 index card (no matter the colour, but done neatly). I ask that you find a favourite verse that is not a more common one.

** 2 wrapped teas

** 1 dessert recipe SENDER'S CHOICE

** 2 blank Christian recipe cards

***Please Note**** the recipe cards can be homemade - 4x6 - or printed out.

Please look at your partner's profile for any allergies and dislikes regarding food, things to drink, and recipes ...this is simple, just want you to enjoy being a part of it. :o)

Does sound like fun but I don't have a Christian store near to find the recipe cards. Could we maybe print some?

I get mine from christianbooks.com online and I don't seem to give it a second thought about not finding any. But I can see the problem as we don't have any at our downtown Christian store either.

I will make a note on the swap that it's ok to make one.

Please. I'm now part of Weight Watchers. With recipes, please include nutritional info containing fat, carbohydrates, fibre, and protein amounts. Thank you. It's in my profile. I've had bad luck where many don't check your profile.

Hi @HelenG6 it's good that you brought the need for nutritional information to our attention. It is true that many don't read a person's profile for a swap ~ I too have noticed that!

For the Christian recipe cards, do you have to send 2 different ones? I only have one pack I received. As well, does the dessert have to be printed on recipe cards, or can you photocopy it?

Thank you for the message, but I still have a question on sending the recipe, to copy it, or use recipe cards. It's longer to print out the recipe on the cards, I find.
