Cards can be either way: handmade or store bought. Needs to be something cheerful, like a thinking of you card or an encouragement card.

Whoop whoop! Cards are in the mail! I would love to have gotten them out last week, but I had to find my house this weekend ;)

I'm having a hard time deciding how should I rate my partner, 3 or 5. In my opinion, what I received did not completely fill the swap requirements: I didn't receive a ''Thinking of you'' card or anything like that, she sent me a postcard + a candy + a recipe + a teabag. In her opinion, it fits the requirements given because it says ''sender's choice'', but how I understood it is that it's sender's choice what to write on the back of the ''Thinking of you'' card, which I did not receive, and what she said is that I'm just not cheered up about same things that she is and she is sorry I didn't like what she sent. It's not that I did not like it, it's just that I received something else than in my opinion I should have. The swap was missing the swap name, and when I received it, my first thought was ''when did I ever take part in a swap like this?''. It was really hard for me to find the correct swap, because this one didn't even cross my mind before the user contacted me.

How would you rate it?

oh, and, the postcard I received was blank. Only thing she wrote down, was the recipe.

As I have alreay told @nightrainboww in a message, this was only my second swap so I didn't think that the requirements were so strict. I sent a postcard instead of a card and it wasn't a 'thinking of you' one, but it had a picture of chocolate on it and I filled the other side with best wishes and a chocolatey recipe. This is what would cheer me up, so this is why I thought it met the requirements. As mentioned, I also included a few extras which I would have liked if I'd received them.

I appologised for not meeting my partner's interpretation of the swap requirements exactly, but I'm feeling quite hurt that she is being so fussy. I may not have done exactly what she expected, and I forgot to write which swap I was sending it for, but I had the best intentions.

My other partner said "Thank you for everything, it all makes me feel a bit happier. I even love the eraser...and you had no idea I collected those too, I bet!" and gave me a heart, just for reference.

That's weird... there's nothing written behind the postcard. :( Maybe you forgot? And like I have already said, it's not that I'm angry or sad about what was sent, I was just wondering if other people would rate with a 5 or not. I would give 5 out of my kindness, but then again the swap requirements were not completely met (in my opinion), so I thought that for the fairness, should I give a 3?

The chocolate recipe was written on a stationery... not behind the card.

I am not asking this to hurt you in any way, I just thought that if I give you a five, wouldn't it be unfair? I was asking, what others would think. Like, this is not a very good example but only one I can think of now: if there was a swap where I should send let's say, 5 tea bags, and I'd send 3 tea bags and 2 instant hot chocolates, and even though the recipient loved it anyway, I don't think I'd deserve to get a five...
