BOOK PAGE ATC with a BUTTON!

The real button will make the envelope not machinable, but that only cost an extra 20 cents. I just thought that I should add that so the envelopes dont get ruined by the postal machine and get lost.

Yes...the button will add bulk to the envelope depending on size of button. I usually put a note on my envelope asking PO to "hand cancel" so they don't run the envelope through the machine. And to be safe...add the extra .20 postage....

I write Non Machine-able and add the George Washington stamp. I wonder how that bumpy stuff will effect using the $1.10 forever international stamp? I have never asked. I thought if it was under an ounce then it was still the same price.

I always put a small button the bottom left of my ATCs as a kind of signature. That nada rounded top right corner. I hope none of them have been broken in the mail.

I always put non-machinable on alot of my atcs. Button is still a Washington stamp, even if International.

@AZmom875 My post office told me today that international letters are 1.10 up to 2 ounces....sometimes I think it depends on who is working at the PO that day!

I agree..I was paying up to $6.00 from Aus if I told them it was anuyhing but a card. Now I just put the international stamp on and post. Have not had any probs except for a large wooden button.

They add a George Washington to my international forever stamp for non machinable envies too

I made two of them, but adding the final touches, which includes the buttons. I needed to get the thread, because glue will not work well with the ones I made. I forgot when I made them if we need one or two, so I just made two.

@fawnscrafts I am not talking to anyone in particular...just wanted to make sure that everyone reads the guidelines and to let everyone know that I do check the ones who do sign up. Why did you think I was posting to you? You haven''t signed up for the swap as of now! LOL

I was worried that I have a low rating for some reason sneak up on me. I haven't signed up yet, because my roster has been pretty filled. I also wanted to make sure I have the ATC finished or near finished before joining.

@ beemgee Australia, I too had trouble with differing prices as told by post master general, it appears all international small post cards naked are $1.70. All letters, enveloped cards with any light weight ephemera are $2.60 regardless. You may have to include a customs form if sending in an A5 size envelope. The prices went up as of May. Almost doubled!

@perlacraft - sorry but your rating and the fact that you haven't swapped in several months is a problem....will be dropping you from the swap.

l seen cicle stamps of the earth but l want a new Johnny Cash stamp that is coming out in the US.
