Description:

This is what we will do,we will make a Daybook for everyone who join this swap so making the # of partners 10, sure there won't be that many to join.

You will make each book with at least 8 pages folded in half & will be no smaller then 4x6 & put 1 envelope in it. Let's add something in the envelope too!

I don't have any of the clear plastic & not for sure what it's called but if you have any it would be nice to add it. Can someone tell me what it's called & where to get it?

Just verifying if the pages have to be folded [ie. pamphlet stitch binding] or if they can be cut & put together with ribbon or rings?

I have a question as to how decorated these books have to be... should we have a decorated cover and embellishments inside, or is it really just decorative paper and the envelope?

Working on Daybooks this week-end, got 2 done & 2 ready to sew & have 3 more already made, getting better at sewing now! Love picking out paper for then but learned the hard way to punch border before sewing.

Another pair of questions as I start making my books.

Is it a requirement to be a vertically sewn book or can it also be horizontally sewn?

Does the 8 full pages minimum include the cover?

Working on mine! Really silly question, I am sure, but does 8 full pages mean 4 sheets of paper folded or 8 sheets folded?

8 sheets folded in half of any size, plus the cover & hand sew is fine, that's how I do mine, vertically or horizontally any way is fine, never thought of that.

So what does one do with a daybook? Is it sort of like a small smash book? I've joined the swap and am excited for it!

@naturenerd3 You could use them to document trips or vacations. I think the idea is for them to fill up quicker than a smashbook. I think of it as a mini photo album or journal :)
