You will send three bookmarks each to two partners. The bookmarks will be the kind you pick up free from your library or local book shop. I've done a similar swap before and got some great bookmarks from different countries so hopefully this will be a nice swap! It's also an international swap and anyone can join, yep even newbies! xo

Is there a limit on the dimensions of the bookmark? That is, is there a min/max? Some of the free bookmarks around our area have gotten quite long and wide. I'm interested, but would like more information, please. (swap-bot n00bie reaching max swap capacity here. I am an experienced swapper, FWIW.)

The free bookmarks that my library has are about 8 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. I would think whatever the bookmarks that your library has would be fine. Mine won't fit in a small notecard but will fit in a regular sized envelope.

As it turns out, the behemoth marker is far too long to fit in a business-sized envelope. Oh well ... time to start looking for those last two!

Do the bookmarks necessarily have to be from a bookstore or library, or can they be from a museum, advertisement, etc.?

They can be from anywhere. I just used bookstore or library as an example. :)

OK. I'm frustrated. TWO of the three bookmarks won't fit in a business envelope. Sorry everyone. No polar bear or vintage photo markers ... now I have to scramble to find new bookmarks. Grrr!
