Great idea using a part of a Calendar to make a postcard! The front cover of most calendars is a sturdier stock, can be cut to make a postcard. Being a January 2014 swap - could be a "Happy New Year" postcard.

For some reason I have like 10 old calendars around....I also plan to be making calendar envies ;)
