I collect red envelopes so I thought this would be a fun swap. All you have to do is send your partner a Chinese new year Red Envelope. Chinese New year begins on January 31 so that will be the deadline to sign up. then you will have a week to send to your partner...... just to be clear your red envelope does not have to have a horse on it. :)

Oh my, when I lived in the suburb of Washington, DC the Chinese New Year Red Envelopes were easy to find at stores.
Now, here in Central Florida, I will have to do an online search for these special red envelopes.
Just curious - is there an interest in handmade red envelopes (of same size) for Chinese Year of the Horse - '2014?

Whippet I would prefer store bought for this swap, but I think it would be an excellent idea to do a handmade red envelope swap too. for this swap i did buy my envelopes online

Viza, yes since the Red Envelopes are rather small I think it would be best to send inside a standard envelope.
