Friendship books! EDITED

Where can I learn more about friendship books? I keep seeing these swaps and they sound fun. But I don't want to make them wrong!

I used to swap deco fb's YEARS ago, like 15+ years. Anyone know how to get started up with that again?

Friendship books are little booklets made of a front and back cover with some sheets either taped or stapled together to make it into a booklet style. You make a booklet FOR someone and it is BY you. So put their address on the FOR and your address on the BY on the front which you can decorate sweetly. On the back you print : "when filled send back to:____________" and put the name of the person you created the booklet for there. Each person the booklet goes to signs it (can put their address label on) and dates it. It can be really fun! Thanks @Whippet for helping!

Yes, @kerrydwynn , counted out the stack of "established" FB's - already has names & addresses, not new, I have 9 total. That's 4 FB's I will send for your swap, with 5 FB's extra's I could share with others if they want to be in this swap.

I'd love to join in but I only have one established fb as I am new to fb swapping. I am making a few of my own so hopefully will get enough for another swap later. Xx

Here's a great article I found about FBs, slams, crams, etc. Someone else posted it in a FB swap - I found it really helpful as I'm a total newbie at these things! Lol

@kerrydwynn Is there a standard number of sheets in a FB?

Standard number of sheets? Well, it is always good not to put in too many as it will take FOREVER for the FB to get back to whom it was created for. I'd say no more than 6 (if you are creating new ones) Thanks for asking @chelle523 and I'm grateful for all the help swappers are offering :-)
