Hi guys and welcome to my swap.

I suffer with depression and some days I just want to hide in bed, away from the world. I know that depression is very common,so wanted to create a swap that'd "make a stranger smile" ,to cheer people up who are struggling to put a smile on their faces. Or if you are having a crappy time at work,in your relationships,or whatever.I know that it cheers me up when I relieve something nice in the post :0)

The MINIMUM amount of items you MUST send is 10 DIFFERENT ITEMS, which can be ANYTHING you think would "make a stranger smile!" - just just think if you'd like them being sent to you :0) A few examples-

Funky socks, Candy/sweet/chocolate Cute Writing paper Notecards Stickers Poems Fridge magnets Keyrings/key chains ATC's Pens Postcards Craft items Bookmarks

Etc etc :0)

Please make sure you honour your swap,and once you have received your items,please leave feedback for your partner :0)

Also it might be handy to have a look on your partners profile to see if they like anything/don't like anything :0)

I would be more inclined to join if there were some minimal sending requirements, ie a set number of minimum items to send.

If a postcard is enough, this should be a type 2 swap. Now if I am just preparing a nice little package and just receive a postcard I would be really sad.

I had PTSD last year and this is truly, a great idea, but I also do agree with the others about having a "minimum" requirement.

I see that the participant list includes a former flaker who never fixed her 1s (her two partners are still currently active on SB), and a newbie with a completely blank profile. Are you going to allow them to stay in the swap?

@Krissie82 you should also add a minimum rating requirement! i will join if you add this, 4.95 with no one ratings sounds like a good minimum seeing as this is a reasonably large swap ^_^

I didn't ban her because although she has 2 recent 1's the amount of 5's outweighed this,plus she joined before I set the 4.95 rating and I didn't think it fair to ban her

This morning I woke to the news of actor/comedian Robin Williams' death. According to the news report he had been experiencing severe depression. So sad that a man that has made millions laugh through TV, movies and standup, felt his only option was suicide. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

Krissie82---this was an awesome idea for a swap. I smiled while preparing my package for my partner and also prepared a second envelope for a friend (not on Swap-Bot) that I know could use a smile too. Off to the post office....
