Using true vintage materials - fabric, velvet, lace, buttons, costume jewelry, photos (as your imagination dictates) completely indulge your partner in a book front covered in treasures. I love the theme of the pic I found on pinterest (do check there for inspiration) but consult your partner's profile and aim to please! I would like to post another swap sometime for a journal embellished similarly, BUT this swap is intended to create beauty for display only. So any book will do - old, new, whatever - as we are simply using it as our 'canvas' Requirements: True Vintage supplies for embellishment * Any hard-cover book measuring at least 5" x 7" * Cover entire book but embellish only front * Enjoy the process! And, of course, no flaking!

The book will remain intact. The hardcover is just the medium upon which to create our art.
