What is a bookplate?

They are made of paper, like the size of a playing card, maybe a lil bigger, usually sticky on the back, and you stick them on the inside cover or first page of a book and write your name on them so if you lend the book out people know whose library it came from. They usually have some kind of decoration like books or cats (like in the pic above) and a line to write your name. Hope that helps. Barnes and Noble sells them where their bookmarks are or you can make your own too. :)
