Description:

Either make or alter a small journal for your partner.

It can be a writing journal, a partly prepped art journal, a junk journal. You can make your own from signatures, holes with rings, wire bound, hand sewn or you can alter a pre-made journal.

Either way, Add a few pockets, envelopes and/or ephemera to the inside. Something that makes your partner go "wow"!

Please make sure it is at least 6" tall

So it's basically a nice blank journal for them to use. Just a bit of decoration and a nice cover but pages mostly blank not arted?

Yes! @helo That would work fine. I'm in the process of making a few signatures that I will quick stitch into a cover. I tried to leave it very open to interpretation :) Thanks for asking!

I've become addicted to making up 4 or 5 sheet signatures and doing a quick 3 hole stitch into a heavier cover. This video inspired me a few months back:

Sometimes I make only 3 binding holes and add all 3 signatures to the same hole. I also punch my hols with a crop-o-dile or my eyelet setting punch.
