I adore Starter Wife. I love the opening segment with the paper doll changing out clothes.

For those who don't know Starter Wife is a TV show on the cable channel USA here in the USA.

Can you be labeled a "Starter Wife" To join this swap you must be a "Starter Wife"

You need to have been married and divorced. I am not going to limit the number of times, I wouldn't dare ask!!!

Take a copy of or even an original picture of your first wedding dress and using a paper doll as inspiration make a "pick-me-up" Greeting card for your partner.

Postcard allowed only if mailed in an envelope. I am anticipating you would/will embellish the card so we don't want them destroyed by postal person and/or machines

SIMPLE--FUN--QUICK & EASY

The usual restrictions. No 1's. Newbie OK with filled out profile. Will ban any "iffies"

US & Canada only.

Is Starter Wife even seen overseas???? Feel free to start you own Non-US & Canada version.

I was a started wife 35 years. I must have a photo somewhere, don't think I trashed them all. Sounds like a fun atc. Joanne, free and surviving it all. PS never saw the show but I will.

LOL Cat thought you were throwing a tantrum! I just spent the last 5 minutes puzzling over what this was all about and think Ive worked it out that its a TV prog - so I think the answer to your question 3YorkieMum is NO we dont have the TV show in the UK! Good Luck with your swap!

This is my apology! I wish all swaps were for everyone but we are all so unique in our own ways and that is part of the fun of finding those of like-mind in swap bot and having a grand time commiserating or celebrating what life has thrown at us. Spread the word to those you know! 3YM/Darleen
