ZMACS Aug: watercolor minizine

Watercolors are a fantastic medium. For me, nothing captures light and shadow or subtle shapes like watercolor. I have taken 2 classes now and still am playing around with them like a little kid. Mixing colors by starting out with different reds, blues, and yellows is an endless discovery and then playing around with extra paint becomes a fun thing to do.

So ... let's make a watercolor minizine. Feel free to use pens or other media with the watercolors, but they should be a major feature of the design. Explore salt, sprays of water, alcohol and other techniques with the watercolor, if you like. Use sketchy brushstrokes, or not. Create a story or narrative, or not.

Make one minizine, any style that you like, copy and send to 3 partners. Sit back and wait for more watercolor inspiration.
