What are the most depressing, funereal, angsty, desolate, gloomy, tragic or inconsolable(#) tracks in your music collection?

Sometimes you just have to wallow in it.

But can you pick your mopey ass up long enough to compile and burn a CD and mail it to your 2 swap partners? Consider this the anti-summer mix and darken someone's day.

(#) What is sad music? It's how you define it. Consider including an explanation(##) of your mix if you pick tracks that aren't stereotypically sad.

(##) Tracks by The Cure(###) would probably require no explanation.

(###) Except maybe "Friday I'm in Love".

I adore sad music - melancholia really cheers me up! Right after signing up, I compiled my list and made my cds, but have so many gloomy tunes leftover, here's me hoping there's a 2nd edition coming up. Even managed to not put one Cure song on the whole thing; but is it cheating to have included a song from the Saddest Music (my fav film ever) soundtrack?....

sent my discs today...quite late...but it's worth it because they ooze so much quality that they leave a slimy trail... ( clown hat , smiley face , hugs , LOL , ROTFLMAO ad nauseum....)

I received my first today, and am giving it a try. Just curious - I mailed my discs out several weeks ago, and haven't heard from either recipient. Here's hoping they arrived without incident; is it common to acknowledge receipt, or is 'no news good news'?
