Take a photo of an interesting building or event in your town or area. Put a back of some kind on it and stamp and mail it as a postcard to your one partner. One self-made postcard to one partner, international, sender's choice. I do not recommend sending a photo through the mail without a backing of some kind.

Would it be okay to use two mini instant photos (like instax) instead of one full size?

I don't know what size those are but there is a minimum size you can send thru US mail. As long as you can mail them I don't know why not. Rich, the boss
