The dollar store is an untapped resource of amazing cheaply produced finery. I myself have gone over board in many a dollar store for a project.

This swap is for 5 random dollar store items. You will have one swap partner, and sorry to say to keep shipping costs down this swap will only be open to US and Canada.

Now I say random, but really, I mean try to find something fun, interesting, odd, unique, or just plain bizarre. Let me give you an example. Bag of plastic ninjas=good dollar store find! Brown and White Dishcloths=Boring! You get the idea.

And finally, please absolutely NO FOOD ITEMS.

I can't wait!!! I love the Dollar Store!! I have been known to spend obscene amounts of money there, but who can resist ...it's the Dollar Store!!

I love the dollar store....but I have to remember 30 items is still 30 dollars....and I disagree about the dishtowels beign boring....I found some cool bright yellow fannel wash clothes at the dollar store and use them for bits of fabric.....

I just joined a few minutes ago, because I could not resist this swap. And I also disagree about the dishtowels being boring. Under the right circumstances - say, if those brown dishtowels had coffee cups printed on them, they would be really cool.

This sounds like fun! The dollar store is my favorite place you can find the neatest stuff for swaps. gift baskets or just about anything craft related!

Ooops! I missed the thing about no food! But it's mailable yummies so hopefully my person won't mind because it's already in the mail! But I had a great time picking out stuff. There were so many choices!!! We should definitely do this swap again.

I shopped today, and had such a hard time choosing from all the funky stuff I found. (coulda spent $100!!) Can hardly wait to package them up and mail out - must remember to photograph first! I would LOVE to do this every month, I thought that exact thing as I was driving home smiling about my purchases!!

I was late in sending out my items, I was on vacation and left the package to be sent by my friend but she never got around to it, I just got back home and sent it out. I contacted my partner to let her know, hope she likes what she get's.
