I dont have an alter in my home right now. But at times in the past i would make food items and place them outside fir the animals to eat. Or even further in the past, when i lived near cemeteries where family was buried, i would make a special favorite dish & visit the relative on a birthday or holiday, clean up the grave, maybe plant some flowers & leave the food. Would that be acceptable for the swap?
