R&W: Happy Birthday Mr Poe!

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809, and was the first well-known American writer to earn a living through writing alone. He is well known for his poetry and short stories, especially those of the macabre nature. He lived a short life, but is remembered today as the 'inventor of detective fiction'.

For this International swap, send your partner a notecard, letter or postcard, listing at least one interesting (to you) fact about Poe and the title of at least one of your favorite works by him. The post/notecard doesn't have to relate to Poe, but if you have a card with a raven, it's a good time to use it. :) Sender's choice. :) Handmade is acceptable as well!
