This might be a dumb question, but what size socks should we buy? I think tube socks might need more then $8 to fill them.

Just regular 9-11 foot or ankle socks. You can find cute ones in the dollar section.

I am doing this for my 14 year old daughter. She wears the normal womens size sock. Purple and orange are her colors and she loves anything monkey or pig related. Also loves rings, and bracelets. I hope whoever is assigned to me can cater to her likes. Thanks.

You can put anything that fits into a sock-a homemade gift, crafts, jewelry, lotions, snacks, stationery items, etc. Look at your partners profile for ideas. The sky's the limit!

I bought socks and assumed that people would understand that the socks should be new but I guess not as the ones I got were used and crusty (though clean) still crusty with pill balls all over, I almost didn't want to put my hand in them. Strange. If you do this one again you should specify that people are to send new NOT used socks. ewe!

I have e-mail the partner that has me and she has noted e-mailed back and never has sent the socks out. I don't understand why people flake on partners!! I am really dispointed I sent mine out nice and early and had fun and don't understand why people do this..

Yea, flaking makes the swap less fun for people. I ended up having some problems and emailed the gal im sending to, to let her know mines going to be late, dunno why others cant do the same. Its common sense to let people know whats up.
