Description:

This swap will have two (2) partners and you will send five (5) different blank note cards to each partner. That means that you'll have to come up with a total of ten (10) blank note cards. Note cards shouldn't be larger than say... 4" x 3". Anything bigger will be a bonus. Please send what you would like to receive. These can be store bought or hand made.

I suggest that your note cards fit in a 6" x 9" envelope. This is a US swap only due to shipping costs, I hope you other countries understand.

Remember, these should be blank note cards so your partner will be able to use them and send them out as their own.

2 Partners x 5 note cards each = 10 blank notecards

Most are welcome, no no-sends!! I will be checking profiles.

Notecards are fairly standard at 4.25" x 5.5" --anything smaller than 3"x5" can't be mailed. (at least in the US)

Hi! Do you mean completely blank, as in no decoration at all, or simply one with no message such as "Happy birthday"? Thanks.

Hello. What I mean by 'blank' is something that is not written on. I would communicate with your partners (once they are assigned) if they would like such cards. I personally wouldn't mind if I received something like that. =)

Should that be "no SMALLER than 4"x3""?

Smaller than 4x3" requires extra postage, I think. Most note cards that I have seen are about 4x3".

the us postal service will not mail the small envies anymore no matter what the postage. I got one in a swap today, i guess you could use it to announce a swap or something.

notecards are standard at 4.25" x 5.5"--you can make two from a sheet of 8.5" x 11" cardstock, and they make standard envelopes for that size which are easy to find in Wal*Mart and Staples, for instance. The envelopes are called "invitation" envelopes. It's also a common size for Thank You notes.

Anything larger is usually called "greeting card" and can be blank inside or have some sort of printed poem or message (Happy Birthday, etc)

Really smaller cards are more often used for gift cards, to enclose with a gift. The smallest size the PO will mail is 3.5 x 5.

Should an envelope be included? I saw notecards only. It would cost less to ship, but will this be an inconvenience if envelopes are not included?

Yes, please include envies. The purpose is to use the notecards you receive as your own. = )

Wow, thank you all for signing up for this swap. I had no idea it would turn out as big as it has. I will be assigning swap partners first thing tomorrow morning. Those who are new to swap-bot, please have a complete profile. I've sent messages to a couple of you. Those who went back and edited your profile, thank you so much! I made a set all same color. One partner may get bought cards. I have envelope problems.
