Hi swappers . . . Let's follow along with Pam for one of her 15-minute weekly challenges. We're going to be creating a double-pocket envelope, using some type of sheer/crinkly paper. Vellum comes to mind, but any other type of thin paper is fine. You might even choose to use a napkin-decoupaged piece--those are always beautifully crinkly! Pam's tutorial can be FOUND HERE Let's begin with an 8.5"x11" piece of paper before any folding. If you're using vellum, dry glue or glue runner works better than wet glue. You may also sew your piece. After construction, insert a little something into the three pockets. You'll need to create a little pocket for the back side of the piece since we're not making an uneven tear on our base piece. Embellish the front and send off to your partner. Hope to see you there! |
