Hybrid Journal Swap - Envelopes

Reminder: you can join these swaps at anytime. If you want to participate in the completed swaps or prepare for the final swap - all the information needed is posted in the forums.

Welcome to the fifth swap for our hybrid journals! We are going to be adding a new element to our journals - envelopes. You can use new envelopes but it is so satisfying repurposing used envelopes here.

Watch This Video for inspiration. We’ll be adding at least 3 envelopes to our pages in any way you wish. You can add them to the edge of a page and make a flap, you can add it into the seam of the signature, or you could glue it right onto the page itself. Just be sure you are using the envelopes as a pocket (envelope) in some manner. Any sizes are welcomed, windows or not, flaps intact or sealed, new, repurposed, or created!

You do not have to attach them to your journals at this time if you prefer to wait, but be sure they are decorated beautifully!

This is an email only swap! You’ll be making at least 3 decorated envelopes to be added to your journal. Take some great pictures and email them to your partner, include a short note about how this swap is going!
