I have just recently found out about slams and I think they are very fun. I thought it would be fun to have a swap where we make a couple slams for ourselves and a couple for our partners. That way we get a bunch out in circulation.

So for this swap, you will have two partners and you will make 2 slams for yourself and 2 for your partner (but you will send them all to your partner). So a total of 4 slams to a partner. I thought it would be fun to make ones for ourselves that way you could put questions you want to see when you get it back and then a couple for a partner.

I hope that all makes sense. Newbies welcome with a filled out profile. Must have a 4 rating no 3's or 1's in the last month.

make them small or the slam will take forever to fill and return. believe me I have been doing them for over 20 yrs. and I only get a couple returned home.

Ok, I'm going to copy what a friend wrote to me about a slam. :)

Slams are a bit like FB's. Inside cover is usually maker and owner. On the first page you write in your name and address (or stick a label) next to a number. On each of the following pages there is a question like What is your favorite color?, do you want a new pen pal?, what is your favorite band?, etc. You answer every question and write your answer next to your number. If you don't want to do numbers you can always do symbols.

The slams I usually make are for 5-10 people (because they can take awhile to fill up). And on the first page I list 1-5 (or whatever number) and I put my name and addy on the first line. Then on every page I put a question I want to know and then put my answer next to number one.

Does that make sense? If anyone else has a better way to explain jump on in!

Well I am sending it as My partners to my other partner so my partners dont get the slams I made for them. It would not be fun to sign only two but have to pass on four. sorry if that is wrong but it was a bit confusing with the directions and that is how most swaps are done.
