I would love to join this, but the problem is.. I don't know where to begin to get football postcards.. and even if I did. My favorite team is from across the country. Would handmade be acceptable if made up to par of a real postcard?

I would like to keep this one store bought, as there are many collectors of stadium cards. It does not have to be your favorite team, it can be from your local team and most Walgreens carry post cards, if your state has a college or pro team, they probably have cards for them.
