Description:

This will be a series of monthly swaps, but you don't have to join each month. You will have one partner each time. The stitcheries are 6 x 6 inch finished and can be used for a quilt, a wall hanging, a pillow, a tote bag, or whatever you like.

Make an embroidery on a piece of 100 % white or off-white cotton in the theme and color of your partner’s choice. The embroidery should fit in a 6 x 6 inch square, so make sure your fabric is 7 x 7 inch.

Because it's stitchery you can use primarily basic stitches: backstitch, running stitch, straight stitch and French knots.

My theme is cats. Just use the bright colors you think you need for this embroidery. I only want to know which embroidery threads you used, so sent me a note with that info please with the embroidery.

My theme is flowers; color (or colors) is sender's choice. I'm going to use a variety of fairy fabrics to encompass these into a wall hanging, so the flowers can be realistic or fantasy.

I would any of the following themes for my embroidery: * things found in the woods: mushrooms, gnomes, deer, hedgehogs and trees * circles * houses * flowers: think funky and doodled rather than realistic

I love when felt / fabric is used in conjunction with embroidery stitches. My favorite colors are red, light to medium shades of green, all blues especially turq and aqua, black and orange.

Okay, this time I'm definitely staying in. I had too much on my plate this past month to fit #2 in.

I'd love anything woodland creature related. I'm especially fond of owls. I like dark, rich colors. My favorite is purple.

So once again mushrooms, though I heard a rumour that one of my blocks will include a gnome.(which is awesome) So mushrooms as the main focus but if you are inspired to include other things go for it.

my theme is Christmas and my colours are Red, Green and Gold or Blue and Silver, please only use one or the other red green and gold OR silver and blue

i would like anything underwater related: mermaids, narwhales, fish, sharks, anything that lives underwater EXCEPT CRABS please! or anything with bicycles, even bicycle parts, just anything bicycle related. i love all colors! thanks!

My preference is for flowers or other plants, insects, or birds. Open to whatever style and colors!
