If you don't know what Card Candy is...it's basically an element that you can add to a card that completes it. For example...you can start with a piece of shaped cardstock, stamp an image on it, color it in and add ribbon or rhinestones or other embellishments to create an element that if you add it to a card, that will be the main focus. If you have a die cut machine, Cricut or punches, you can make some flower embellishments by layering different shapes of flowers and adding a brad, eyelet or rhinestone in the center. If you have a rubber stamp that you can stamp and cut out several times, then pop dot the layers. This will make a very cool piece of card candy. Create a tag with ribbon or fibers. If you have a rubber stamp that you can stamp on white cardstock then again on patterned paper-cut out the patterned paper parts that you can attach over the image you stamped on the white and then layer the whole piece on a coordinating piece of cardstock. Card candy can also be used on Scrapbook pages. Must have at least 2 layers. I'm showing a photo of some purchased card candy that will give you an idea of what I'm looking for in this swap. You'll make 4 different pieces of card candy and send them to 1 person. They can be coordinating or stand alone. | |
