Think Porta potty! Only they were permanent and very necessary before indoor plumbing!

I remember those! The worst thing was the huge SPIDERS that lived overhead in one that my cousins had at their home, back in the early 50s !!

Thats always been the joke about the out back dunny check the seat first. My aunt and uncle always had an outhouse in Chillago. I hated it. And they had to empty it themselves yuck.

We still have outback dunnies - a bit more modern but still there. They are built by our councils now
