Is the postcard itself just supposed to be generally blue or should there actually be a blue object on the postcard?

@SamBuck The answer to both parts of your question is YES. The postcard should be primarily blue, which can mean that the whole postcard is a shade of blue, or many shades of blue, OR the main subject of the postcard is blue.
