In the U.S. the drinking age is 21 years. I just figured someone younger ought not have any favorite alcoholic beverages, legally speaking.

I suppose if someone younger really wanted to join, they could get parental permission/advice.

oh I see. Its just as its international and the drinking age differs country to country (the drinking age is 18 in the uk)
