Description:

This is a swap for 50 round (shank or flat, sew through) buttons. You will have 3 partners each, which will offer a really fun variety!

Standard button rules apply:

  • No more than 2 of the exact same button

  • 1 Large button count as 1 button. 1 Medium button count as 1button. 2 Small buttons count as 1 button. 3 Tiny buttons count as 1 button. So if you are sending smaller sized buttons, be generous!

  • No broken/dirty buttons, folks. Only send something you would be happy to get.

  • This is not a profile-based swap. Send any button colors you want! Of course, it never hurts to take a peek at your partner's preferences.

  • I will angel if need be BUT button-lovers are not flakers. I know this to be true :)

Do we think 150 buttons is too much? I can change it to 2 partners. I just really love getting new buttons :)

I don't have any problem with 3 partners. You can always buy a huge variety bag at sewing or craft stores for a couple bucks.

I just want to make sure dimensions you would consider small and medium buttons to be? I thought a nickel might be small and a quarter medium? What do other people consider the size to be?

Or if there's a specific size in mm or inch that would be great. I just want to be sure I'm not sending a bunch of buttons I think are medium but my partner considers small.

Yes, can you specify what a large versus medium versus small button is? I think mine might mostly be too small if a nickel counts as small! :(
