I'm reading a book called Love Is A Mix Tape by Rob Sheffield. I have a feeling it may make me cry.

It is bringing back happy (and sad) memories of mix tapes I used to make, back when we used tapes, remember those?

I had a mix-tape for everything, being in love, breaking up, wanting to get together with someone, roadtrips, rainy days, summer, autumn, winter, spring, 80's/90's Rock (ahh, those were the days 😀), music to cook to, music to workout to, and of course Christmas. The possibilities are endless.

Did you make mix tapes? Do you still make playlists?

The challenge is to make a mix tape (digital, of course, not an actual tape, although I do still have a Walkman if anyone wants to...)

Make it about a time in your life, or an event or just a mix of songs that have meant something, or remind you of something or someone in your life, happy, sad, angry or all of the above. It's a mix tape about your life, so it's all your choice.

The format can be whatever you want, you can email a list of the songs, you could add links to YouTube videos, make a Spotify or Apple Music playlist to link to (worth checking if your partner has either of those before you send the swap)

Tell us as much as you are happy to about why each song has a place in your life. Let's get to know each other a little better and enjoy some great music together.

I will keep the rating open for newbies to join, but you will need a well-filled-out profile with no recent or unexplained 1's and 3's. Otherwise, you won't be able to join.
