I'm a young woman who has lived for a long time. I'll be 70 next month! I am astonished how fast the time has flown by and continues to do so. There have been good times and not so good times. I'm grateful for all the experiences I have had in my life. I'm grateful for simple things like I can read, nature, my two cats Molly & Bella, I can listen to good music, and I can see such beauty in the world. I am so grateful for my children and grandchildren, they bring great joy into my life. I'm glad that I have been a Christian since I was a little girl in England. That has made all the difference in my life.

Art—Van Gogh, Monet, DaVinci, Rembrandt, Beatrix Potter, Andy Goldsworthy, Mary Engelbreit and Japanese woodblock prints.

Books—nonfiction; The Hiding Place, Gift from the Sea, Raising Hare, The Story of a Heart, Beatrix Potter’s Art, The Secret Lives of Color, Lost in London; biographies, history and the Bible.

Books—fiction; A Christmas Carol, A Tale of Two Cities, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, The Wind in the Willows, A Pilgrim’s Progress, The Screwtape Letters—anything by C.S. Lewis, and Christmas Stories.

Holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas.

Movies—The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Chariots of Fire, The Sting, Pride and Prejudice, Winged Migration, My Octopus Teacher, Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey, The Wild Robot, Flow.

Music—Enya, Secret Garden, The Beatles and some movie soundtracks.

Colors—burgundy, dusky purple, navy blue, & forest green. I don't like neon colors.

Countries & Places—England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, London, Venice, Paris, the Lake District in England, Devon, forests & oak trees, mountains, the seaside.

Animals—cats, pangolins, foxes, snow leopards, tigers, hedgehogs, elephants, whales.

Birds—owls, puffins, European robins, hummingbirds, sparrows.

Random—old photographs, Ordnance Survey maps, vintage postage stamps, washi tape, flowers and botanicals.
