I have been a penpaller for 17 years now.
I work as a machinist specializing in Swiss lathes. I enjoy postcrossing, reading, and playing guitar. I garden and draw, and I sew, including period costumery for reenactment and ren faires. I play tabletop games with my friends and bake them treats twice a month.
I can correspond fluently in English. I am only at an intermediate level of Spanish. I am happy to send and receive letters in Spanish, but you will have to forgive any errors!

I love to collect postage stamps and postcards. I also collect china. When mailing me I would be thrilled if you used commemorative stamps from your country over definitives.
I like to read and I make ATCs and little books and journals. I also re-bind or cover old books.
🐟I keep aquariums for fun. Right now I only have my 10gal micro tank set up, but next winter I'll start cycling a 55gal community tank. I usually keep mostly Amazon tropical freshwater fish.
🪡Quilting is a newer interest of mine, I have been working on it about a year now and I love it so far.
🫓I like to bake, and if you have a recipe you love, I would be glad to receive it.

I would prefer not to receive anything religious, or with loose glitter/confetti. I don't care for fruity teas, except for apple, lemon, and pear.

♻️biodegradable, compostable, or reuseable packaging. I live out in the country and we don't have recycling.

🧵charm squares/precuts for a scrappy quilt. I especially love heritage prints, small florals, and geometric patterns. (Let me know if you have any orphan blocks you're looking to get rid of, I'm happy to trade)

🎧playlists. I like to try almost all kinds of music, even outside my usual genres (grunge, rock, jazz, alt, and folk) I don't prefer new country, but older stuff and outlaw country and the like is cool by me.
