I just tried making an oversized postcard with some great washi and stickers that I received in a swap today. Then I realized it probably woudn't survive the trip through the mail, so I tried laminating it with packaging tape. Bad idea! It's got bubbles in it and these weird black lines appeared where the tape overlapped. I spent a good amount of time on it and don't want to just throw it away, so I thought someone else might get a chuckle out of it. So, the idea of this swap is to either send something you have made (postcard, note card or greeting card} that didn't turn out the way you wanted or you can make a postcard, note card or greeting card specifically for this swap and deliberately mess it up in some way. Might be a good time to experiment with a new technique you've been wanting to try. I have no idea if this will interest anyone, but someone is going to get my wacky postcard one way or another. Write a little note to your partner about whatever you want and send it off. Don't forget to include your swap bot name. | |
