I’M A GRANAIDH!!! (Granny) 14 July 2025 JellyBean was born. A grandson! His name is Westley (yes because Princess Bride 🤭) 7 lbs 11 oz and I have no idea what exact time or how long he was. The clock in the operating room was wrong. Mom, Dad, and baby are doing good.

Howdy! I finally made it back. Hopefully things are just stable/steady for a while. I have missed making ATCs and doing swaps.

I have been having problems with ratings not saving/posting. I think it’s either the persistent pop up ads or possibly user error. Please send me a note if you’re over long for a rating.

I’m at the starter levels of “old” (51!) I’m chronically ill and medical issues. I’m restricted getting out and about socially. It’s been about 6 or 7 years since I have “peopled” socially much. The solitude has been nice as far as having time to look inward and evaluate things and deciding what my priorities are and how weird life can be sometimes. I still need to interact with folks outside of hospitals and clinics. This a safer way for this shy gal to do so and here we are. I’m socially awkward and sometimes can seem like I’m a self centred jerk but it’s mostly that I’m autistic and don’t really catch nuances a lot of the time. Things I enjoy: Myths and mythology, legends, folktales and lore. Kindness. I enjoy a lot of “dead arts” like sewing, tatting (handmade lace), embroidery, spinning (recently acquired interest) I think stories about weird or silly things that we worried about or were afraid of as children are fascinating. I also love polar bears, seals, selkies, mermaids, otters, vintage fashion, and Lego.
