Hi! I'm Alex (she/her) a 28-year-old crafter from Ontario, Canada. I started penpaling early lockdown last year when I wanted to connect with people from around the world, in a time when not much connecting was happening. I then found the penpal community on Instagram and fell even deeper into the rabbit hole. Right now I work in health equity for the Federal government. In school I studied journalism and professional writing. I love reading and writing, I'm a bit of a comedy nerd, I love Disney and Broadway and also I'm really into indoor plants. I have a little black fluffy kitten named Marty (feel free to guess the comedy reference).

Some of my classic faves are: -Taskmaster - The Good Place - Ted Lasso - How I Met Your Mother (this is the show I'll re-watch over and over) - Dr. Who (the 10th Dr. was my first and therefore fave) - W1A (love me a British satire)

I don't know why but birds kinda freak me out, so if possible please avoid bird themed-items when swapping with me.
